Synopsis: This made for television documentary follows two Amish couples as they question their community's rules and are at risk of getting ex-communicated from the only life they know. Being Amish is not an easy life: no car, no phone, no electricity.  Farm with horse and plough from morning till night and for heaven's sake, don't dare let women expose their legs. Even a Bible written in English is banned – it must be written in German. Even with the hardships of the Amish world, adapting to modern society can be even tougher. From tearing down their house because of mould, to refusing chemotherapy treatment for their daughter, these couples learn that their faith is still as strong as ever.
