The Story: Based on the Chinese television comedy series. The film assumes that the viewer is already familiar with all of the characters, but even those who have not seen the television series will get caught up quickly. The plot centres around the contemporary problem of real estate development and property speculation. New characters are introduced, including a comedic assassin who is so obsessed with money, he carries an abacus with him wherever he goes. The film was shot in picturesque Yi County. Viewers are treated to stunning views, modern style dialogue, a clip from the original series and even some karaoke.
