The Story: Set in the Atchafalya Basin in the beautiful summer season. A group of teens enjoy the beach on the weekend prior to Gator Fest. Unbeknownst to them, an animal smuggling operation goes horribly wrong and a large terrifying sea creature escapes into the swampy river. Meanwhile, at the McDaniel family restaurant, "Gator Shack" a drunk local gets shredded to bits; the local sheriff blames the McDaniel's escaped group of gators and wants to take the family to jail. The head of the family, Rachel McDaniel, must try to clear their name while enlisting the help of a mysterious stranger. They will come across a beast the likes of which no one has seen before.
