Don 2: The Chase Continues (Hindi Movie) is an upcoming masala, action thriller, Hindi Bollywood Drama film. This Hindi film is being directed by Farhan Akhtar and produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani of Excel Entertainment and starring Bollywood stars Shahrukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Boman Irani and Om Puri, reprising their roles from the previous film, with Lara Dutta and Kunal Kapoor playing new characters among with others. Shahrukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra are in the lead role of the film. Here in this new film Hrithik Roshan will be seen doing a cameo appearance.
The idea for a sequel has been conceptualized ever since the first movie was released, and a sequel was announced by Farhan Akhtar shortly after the release. Shooting for Don 2: The Chase Continues began from October 10, 2010 in Berlin, Germany. According to the sources, Shahrukh Khan was asked to bulk up for the movie and to develop a six-pack. As of December 2010, shooting has ended in Berlin, Germany and actors have returned back to India. Film is now under post-production. According to an another sources from Bollywood, Reliance Big Pictures has bought the rights of Don 2: The Chase Continues from Excel Entertainment for reportedly Rs 135 crore. But the price of the deal has yet to be confirmed. Music of the film/movie is given by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.
